Laxity (LXT) — Germany, founded 1991

This crack intro — catalogued on Demozoo as "Laxity Intro #20 (Jewel)" — was released on 31 March 1996. CSDb confirms the credits: code and charset by Didi, graphics by Calamity of Cream Design and Digital Talk, and music by MHD of Excess performing the SID tune "Aqua Force." The "Jewel" subtitle distinguishes it within Laxity's extensive numbered intro series. Laxity was a German cracking group founded in 1991 by Mister Magic, operating under the motto "The Right Way To Go!" Didi served as the group's mainstay coder across dozens of productions spanning three decades. The group maintained telnet BBS systems named "Rapidfire" and "Reflections" for distributing releases. Laxity frequently cooperated with Onslaught on joint releases. This is one of three Laxity entries in the rankings — see also LXT-13 and LXT-43.
