Released on 30 April 1991, this NEI crack intro is catalogued on CSDb as release #53621. Grim Reaper coded the intro, Gotcha and Andrew Threlfall contributed the graphics, and A-Man — Steven Diemer — composed the SID tune "Oregon Power," preserved in the HVSC. The charset artist is uncredited by name on CSDb. Doc Snyder's page lists it as North East Importers Crack Intro #01, confirming the same credits. The scrolltext announces a crack of "Autotest Simulator+3" — imported, fixed, and trained on 30 April 1991 — and lists NEI's membership as Prodigy, Murdock, Horizon, and Grim Reaper. Greetings go to Dominators, Legend, Censor Design, Genesis Project, Illusion, and Ikari+Talent. North East Importers was an American group whose name explicitly referenced their role as importers — bringing European cracks into the US distribution chain. The BBS Terminal Obsession served as a shared hub for NEC, NEI, and Censor.
